Wayne Wiese of Niagara Falls, Ontario spent three years at Niagara College as a member of the Knights Men's Golf and Basketball Teams. He led the Niagara College (golf) Knights to one of the most impressive OCAA (Ontario Colleges Athletic Association) Championships ever. They won by 19 shots over the competition. Wayne finished the year in second place overall in the OCAA individual scoring. In his final year Wayne received Niagara's Athlete of Distinction Award and was named Male Athlete of the Year, not only for his dominance on the golf course but also for his outstanding play on the basketball court. Being named Niagara's Male Athlete of the year was Wayne's most memorable moment. Wayne graduated in May 1977 from the Business Administration Data Processing program.
