2009 - 2010 Highlights


The Niagara Knights Men’s Curling team came away with a Silver Medal at the OCAA Curling Championships that took place at the Soo Curlers Club in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Their third Silver Medal in as many years.

The Knights Men’s team of Matt Miedema, Phil Rominger, Jeremy Costello, Gord Cornelius, and Brandon Halchuk lost 5-1 to the defending OCAA Champions, the Fleming College – Peterborough Campus Knights in the Gold Medal game.
As for the Niagara Knights Women’s Curling team of Jacqueline Briden, Dianne Raycroft, Cheryl Reid, Laura DeJonge, Dayna Connelly, they finished the Round-Robin portion of the tournament with a record of 2-4 and failed to qualify for the medal rounds.
